Lyon has agreed to sell highly rated French striker Karim Benzema to Real Madrid in a deal that could be worth up to $67 million, the French club said Wednesday. Manchester United advance over Lyon.

MANCHESTER: In a very cautious match and nervous atmosphere, Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal before half-time was enough to put Manchester United into the next round of the Champions League.

Carlos Tevez’s late goal clearly swung the momentum on United’s favor as the next match will be played at Old Trafford.
